Glass Torchwork: Private Class for Kaylene

Participants will receive personal instruction about glass working basics, safety, equipment use, torch and glass techniques and kiln annealing. You will be making your very own colored necklace pendants in this lesson! This course is designed for beginners who are enthusiastic about trying new things and want to learn the mysterious art of glass working in a safe and encouraging environment.

-1 ticket per student  

-Sign up with a partner! so you can enjoy this exciting new experience with your significant other, bestie or family member.

-Class size is 2 students max.

-Your ticket covers all class fees which pay for fuel and materials, equipment use and kiln annealing (pendants will need to go through an overnight annealing cycle and can be picked up at the Makerspace the following day or if you live out of town can be sent to you via postal service).

 

DURING CLASS:

Instructor will go over basic safety and torch use, then he will demonstrate how to create the project, then students will have one on one instruction while they take turns on the torch. (One student will create while the other observes, then students will switch)
