Intro to Screen Printing

If you've ever wanted to print your own design on a shirt, patch or poster paper but have been intimidated by the process, have no fear! This hands-on class will not only guide you through the critical steps of coating, exposing, prepping and reclaiming a screen, you'll also be walking out of here with your own one-color design on your own shirts that YOU PRINTED YOURSELF!!!

Artwork can be emailed to the MakerSpace once you're signed up for the class. Design files can be emailed in the following formats: .pdf, .jpg, .psd, .ai or .eps (300dpi at full-size preferred). Small artwork edits can be made to simple black/white artwork at the beginning of class but more complex artwork edits (detailed clean-up or color separation) can be negotiated for an extra fee over email before attending your class. There will be an extra $25 fee to rent a screen that will be kept, ready to print, for one month. Be sure to bring your own items (shirts, paper, etc.) to print on. Oh yeah... wear work clothes, the process can be messy! Contact the Makerspace directly to arrange your own print lesson today!
