Spring Time Painting

A walkthrough of a variety of beginner watercolor techniques and textures as you paint a pre-drawn Spring scene of a rabbit, mushroom, and greenery.

These classes are geared toward ages 6-12. older kids are wellcome as well.

You can drop off the kiddos, while you go run errands or take a well deserved "parent break" (classes are 2 hours)  You can also stay if you wish to help your youngsters if you feel they might need it. If you wish to do your own little project along with them we ask that you purchase an additional ticket when you arrive to help cover those extra materials cost.

This programing is being partly funded by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council to help make these classes as affordable as possible. We have 6 tickets set at $15 and then an additional 4 tickets that are Free scholarship, because everyone could use a helping hand from time to time, so don't worry about it, we got you.

About the Instructor:

Ashely Siehler

Ashely is a  self-taught artist living in Minnesota with a fancy for the whimsical and vibrant. She runs her own small bussiness "Coyote and Bee Studio" where she has been making and selling art as a hobby for seven years , and professionally for the last two years. She has taught creative classes in Mankato at the Union Markets and is a very patient and kind instructor. She specializes in ink, marker, gouache, and the occasional watercolor. If the critter lives in your backyard, chances are she has drawn it or will draw it.
