3D Paper Portraits

In this imaginative mixed-media class, students will explore portraiture through a combination of drawing, collage, and texture. Using construction paper, fabric, and other layered materials, young artists will create a 3D relief-style portrait that pops off the page.

Students may choose to make a self-portrait or a portrait of someone special to them, carefully adding personalized features, colors, and details that capture the personality of their subject. This project encourages creativity, observation, and self-expression while introducing the idea that portraits can be playful, textured, and uniquely styled.

NOTE* PLEASE dress kids in their "ART/ Messy Clothes"
