Fix It Thursday….Mending Made Easy! (1)

Unstitched seams, torn clothing, pants the wrong length, buttons missing? Learn hand and machine sewing skills that can can be used to mend or make simple alterations.

About the event

Drop-in….$10 (Makerspace members $8), payable to instructor

Every Thursday in February 4:OO – 9:00

Bring

- 1-3 clean garments that you would like to work on

- sewing thread that matches the garments

- replacement buttons if you have them

- thimble if you use one.

Makerspace will provide instruction with experienced sewist, sewing machines, pins and needles, some

supplemental fabric. Donations of thread, needles, buttons appreciated.
