About the event

Make you own glass ornaments this year for Xmas or give them as gifts to loved ones! They also make beautiful autumn/winter light catchers! In this class you'll be learning to make "lattice work" connections to create unique geometric designed ornaments.

Highly recommend you take the prerequisite class:

Glass Torchwork 101

Class is set up as follows:

-3 hour course

-2 students per class ..... sign up with a partner! so you can enjoy this exciting new experience with your significant other, bestie or family member

-Teacher will first demonstrate how to create the project, then students will have one on one instruction while they take their turn on the torch. (One student will create while the other observes, then students will switch)

( Dustin is really an easygoing, patient, and passionate instructor, he will help make you feel comfortable right away in the processes of glassworking and ease any anxieties you might have about trying this new art form.)

your ticket covers all class fees, which are used for: fuel/ material cost and equipment use ( an overnight annealing cycle is recommended please talk to instructor... if you do opt for the annealing cycle you can be pick up your piece at the Makerspace the following day or if you live out of town can be sent to you via postal service for additional shipping cost)
