Glass Working: Party of Two (1)

Working Date Night! Enjoy an exciting new experience with your significant other, bestie or family member in a thrilling, hands-on class about glass torch working (lampworking). Participants will receive personal instruction about glass working basics, safety, equipment use, torch and glass techniques and kiln annealing. You will be making your every own colored necklace pendants in this lesson! This course is designed for beginners who are enthusiastic about trying new things and want to learn the mysterious art of glass working in a safe and encouraging environment.

Class is set up as follows:

-3 hour course

-2 students per class

-Teacher will first demonstrate how to create the project, then students will have one on one instruction while they take their turn on the torch. (One student will create while the other observes, then students will switch)

Class fee: $200 total for Non-Members / $150 for Members-this includes: fuel/ material cost, equipment use, instruction for both students and annealing (pendants will need to go through an overnight annealing cycle and can be picked up at the Makerspace the following day or if you live out of town can be sent to you via postal service for additional shipping cost)

The Website is being a little funny while registering for a ticket, so there are only "Non-Member" tickets available, However if you are a Member get a hold of us before registering we can get you the "Members" discounted ticket .
