About the event

Even the ordinary can be beautiful when you become aware of your environment!

Part 1

1. Grounding into the present moment while drawing our breath with markers on mixed media paper a. Exploring emotions associated with colors b. Becoming aware of the moment

2. Making a garden out of breath lines

a. Explorations of colors they like in flowers

b. acknowledging nature as a place of peace - where do you find peace?


Part 2 Roses

a. Cut 15-25 circles out of toilet paper squares

b. On the edge of each circle, write something you are grateful for

c. Use washable marker to place dots of similar tones along the edge of the circle

d. Wet circles with spray bottle and set aside to dry(part 1&2 might need to be switched depending on drying time)


Tiger lilies

5. Gather paper towel sheets, 3 per kid to start

6. Fold paper in a serious of ways (listed in more detail later)

7. Color in the center with two colors to start

8. Twist the stem of the petals and use clear scotch tape to secure it

9. Dip it in water


Sat morning 10-11:30am


classes for ages 6-12 years old. -Older kids may attend as along as they are respectful while younglings are around. 

10 students per class


6 tickets are priced at $15 a ticket and 4 tickets FREE for low-income families  provided from grant funding


We have been having so much interest in our kid's classes the last couple of months that we are now starting to do waitlists for our classes once they fill up, so please get in touch with us if you need to cancel so we can get ahold of the next person. contact us via email: mnmakersandartists@gmail.com
