How Do I Read a Sewing Pattern?!
Sewing from a pattern can be a challenge the first time around. Bring in a simple sewing pattern and we will review what all those lines and squiggles and directions mean. Basic sewing skills for clothing construction will be reviewed and time allowing, practiced! No garment will be finished!

About the event
Thngs to bring:
- a simple pattern like lounge pants or a skirt - thrift stores often have new patterns priced very inexpensively!
- 1 yard of muslin or any light weight neutral colored cotton - available at Joanne's, thft stores, or maybe your own fabirc stash
- Paper AND fabric scissors (put your name on both)
- straight pins, fabric marker
- tape measure
Makerspace has scissors, pins, and tape measures to borrow if you don't have them.
You will NOT leave with a garment at the end of this class!
