About the event
Jewelry and accessory making can be simple. The starting investment doesn't have to be big. There are many directions you can go dpending on your interests and tastes.
In the first hour of this beginner class you will learn about several disciplines of jewelry making: different mediums, styles and skill levels and tools. In the next 2 hours we will make up to 3 pieces of jewelry: a beaded necklace strung on wire, a pair of earrings and a memory bracelet.
All tools will be provided but you may bring your own if you prefer. Materials will also be provided but if you have beads, charms, etc you'd like to use, bring them! Recycling broken or undesirable jewelry, buttons and baubles is a wonderful use of resources and it's fun! Written reference material will also be provided.
