Sewing machines can be intimidating at first! Bring in your sewing machine and get an orientation to what it can do, how it does it, and ways to use it. We will do a review of all the buttons, levers, moving parts, and items related to using a basic home sewing machine.

Things to bring:
- Sewing machine
- manual (if you can't find it (search online with the brand and model number, for example Singer 19950)
- all accessories you have (feet, needles, bobbins, power cord)
- 1/4 yard of cotton fabric to practice on
- thread
- optional - soft drink in a closed container
