String Art

Who knew you could have so much fun with string, a board and a couple of nails/screws... or that this type of string art has such a wide history! Learn about the Bézier curves /curve stitch and how art can be a fun way to learn about math. Kids will be learning a wide array of skills from painting boards, helping put in nails/screws and then going to town and winding string around their projects. 

all materials are provided 

These classes are geared toward ages 6-12. older kids are wellcome as well.

You can drop off the kiddos , while you go run errands or take a mommy break (classes are 2 hours)  You can also stay if you wish to help your youngsters if you feel they might need it. If you wish to do your own little project along with them we ask that you purchase an additional ticket when you arrive to help cover those extra materials cost.

This programing is being partly funded by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council to help make these classes as affordable as possible. We have 6 tickets set at $15 and then an additional 4 tickets that are Free scholarship, because everyone could use a helping hand from time to time, so don't worry about, it we got you.
