About the event
Students will learn about upcycling everyday materials like bottle caps, washers, buttons, plastics to make jewelry and trinkets
all materials are provided
These classes are geared toward ages 6-12. older kids are wellcome as well.
You can drop off the kiddos , while you go run errands or take a "parent break" (classes are 2 hours) You can also stay if you wish to help your youngsters if you feel they might need it. If you wish to do your own little project along with them we ask that you purchase an additional ticket when you arrive to help cover those extra materials cost.
This programing is being partly funded by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council to help make these classes as affordable as possible. We have 6 tickets set at $15 and then an additional 4 tickets that are Free scholarship, because everyone could use a helping hand from time to time, so don't worry about it, we got you.
About instructor: Cindy Bourne the president of the Makerspace, she is a silver and gold metalsmith and has been creating jewelry and teaching making skills for years!
