About the event
This class is NOT AT the MAKERSPACE, we will all MEET AT SEVEN MILE CREEK PARK in the back most parking lot , Kids must be accompanied by a parent for the class.
This class will focus on Morel Mushrooms, Ramps, Fiddle head ferns, Garlic mustard, ginger, and edible flowers. Needed items= sensible shoes, pants not shorts,a non plastic bag, water bottle, snack, notebook, and a good attitude. We will go over how to safely idenify and harvest these plants and fungi. This date is not guaranteed to produce edibles due to weather patterns and availability of moisture.
This programing is being partly funded by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council to help make these classes as affordable as possible. We have 6 tickets set at $15 and then an additional 4 tickets that are Free scholarship
