A little about the instructor:

Shayna Swiers is a local visual artist who has been honing her craft for over 10 years. She is the Sole proprietor of The Seventh Oak wire, she specializes in woven wire jewelry technques and metaphysical stone/ crystal meanings, healing and lore.

She has her Bachelors of Fine Arts BFA and Masters of Arts MA degree from MNSU.

"Above all Shayna is very patient and kind, you can feel her loving energy right from the moment you meet her. She is very skilled in her craft and has a talent for teaching. She will walk you through every step of your project and will help as much as you request. For instance, I was a little weary of a couple spirials that had gone awry and Shayna fixed it for me with ease and reassuring words that I was indeed doing an enxcellent job and to never feel bad if something needed to be "Tweaked".The whole evening was very pleasant, drinking wine with a couple of my girl friends and our spouses, chatting about life and our experences while making something really cool and rewarding. I would Highly recommend these Wire and Wine classes to ANYONE and EVERYONE regardless of their skill set or arty background, Shayna made it so easy for us all to succeed."
