We have all been cooped up during these strange and stressful times. Many of us are trying to find fun and safe activities to do with friends and family to help us reconnect after being apart for so all. Class sizes are on the small size and people will be spaced out.

Rest assured that the Makerspace staff are doing their best to keep this a safe environment with extra cleaning and safety protocols. High traffic surfaces are swiped down with clorox throughout the day but please help us out by following these protocols:

If you have been feeling sick please communicate with instructor to postpone or reschedule, open communication is Key!

So why trees?  What is the Tree of Life anyway?

Trees have been an endearing and respected symbol throughout the ages and in many cultures. Representing not only the connection we have to our loved ones both present and deceased as a Family Tree but also through the connection we have to our Mother Earth and the natural cycles of growth.  To me, the Tree of Life is Medicine, signifying our roots that are buried deep to support our strong trunk- the core containing our heartwood. The branches embody our inner search for Truth and Knowledge- reaching out and searching. Our leaves find and are nurtured by the Light; touching the crown's of our fellow Trees all around while nourishing our bodies at the same time. The fruit is what we produce when our needs are met- with the gift of new potential in its seeds that gives of itself. So these little tree pendants are a nice reminder of our own personal life’s journey and all the lessons learned along the way with hope and promise of sunny days to come.
