Glowforge Intro- Laser Cutting/Engraving

By now you’ve probably seen the commercials floating around about the Glowforge cutter/ engraver machine and the amazing things it can do and create; and if you haven’t, then go check out their website https://glowforge.com/ to get an idea of just how awesome this thing really is! In this Intro course you will be sitting down with Justin Bergo; he will teach you the basics of the Glowforge machine and it’s software. He’ll go over: *Introduction to what a Glowforge is and basics of how it works *How to properly prepare and set up files *What materials can and can’t be used with our Glowforge * Different settings for engraving depths and effects *Cutting This is a great chance to see what options are available to you with this amazing tool. Bring your project ideas and chat with Justin Materials will be provided. You’ll want to take notes, so don’t forget to bring a pen and pad. This Class is a Required course for you to be allowed to use the Glowforge independently in the future. Some classes are one time only and so will need to cancel. side note: please, consider your instructor and their time. many instructors prep for their class for hours to have things ready for you and some travel from a great distances as well.
